The contribution of youth is important in the development of the country. It is important for the youth to remain working for the progress and success of the nation. It is important for young students to contribute significantly to all the work being done for the development of the country. This opinion was expressed by Advisory Council member Shri Rajeshji Pandey.

Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign ceremony was concluded in Poona College. Prof. Savitribai Phule Pune University. Vice Chancellor Prof. The soil was offered in an urn by the lotus flowers of Dr. Parag Kalkar, Advisory Council member Shri Rajesh ji Pandey. Introduction of the ceremony by Prof. Dr. Aftab Anwar Sheikh, Principal gave information about the various initiatives undertaken by Poona College under Meri Mati Mera Desh by 7500 students and teachers and non-teaching staff.

Sadhana Dilip Ozharkar, brave wife of martyred brave soldier Dilip Ozharkar, brave father Balasaheb Ozharkar, brave mother Mangal Ozharkar, member of the administrative council, Savitribai Phule Pune University Principal Dr. Nitin Ghorpade, Dr. D.B. Pawar, Administrative Council Member, Shri Ali Bhai Daruwala, Advisor Minority Commission, Government of India were honored on the stage. Principal Dr. Aftab Anwar Shaikh took the responsibility of providing financial assistance to the brave daughter of martyred soldier Dilip Ozharkar and taking the responsibility of her education.

Chief guest Shri Rajesh Pandey ji, under his guidance, inspired the youth to always be ready to serve the country. Soil brought by students and teachers from different areas was offered in the urn. Student Development Officer Dr. Baba Shaikh administered the oath of Meri Mati Mera Desh to all present. Vice Principal Moinuddin Khan, Vice Principal Imtiaz Aga, Vice Principal Naz Syed, Supervisor Naseem Khan etc. were present on this occasion.

For the success of the program, Dr. Ayyaz Shaikh, Pvt. Asad Shaikh, Pvt. Vasudha Whaval, Dr. Mukhtar Shaikh, Dr. Gulab Pathan, Program Officer Dr. Akbar Syed, Pvt. Farooq Shaikh, RASSEO volunteers, NCC cadets, students of Vidyarthi Vikas Mandal took hard work.
